Our 'Exploring Outside Spaces with Your Dog' course, is an independent online program that covers a variety of vital topics and activities to help ensure your dog develops a successful relationship with the outside world AND focuses on helping your dog build the skills needed to continue to be responsive and interactive with you, in distracting situations.

This program is broken into FIVE main sections.
The first section covers proper handling and gear. It teaches you how to condition a 'timing marker', have a confident body posture, and handle a leash or long line properly.
The second section dives into understanding your dogs perspective. Here, you will learn about your dog stress responses, triggers, thresholds and how to appropriately assess the environment.
Section three, is focused on your dogs nose. We examine the importance of scent work teach you how to implement sniffing games and take your dog on a ‘Snifari’.
In section four, we begin building new skills using fun games and activities. You will learn how to work with your dog to interact appropriately with the sights and sounds of the environment. In this section, we introduce a variety of training commands that could be used to help navigate a variety of life situations.
The fifth section of this program is all about knowing when and how to successfully remove yourself and your dog, from situations that are less than ideal.
